We are grateful for all who support OUR MISSIONS and MINISTRIES:
- TEDDY BEAR MINISTRY. Please locate a nearby teddy bear in your pew. Pick it up. Hold it close while you sing and pray during our worship service. This “prepares them” to one day leave the sanctuary and become a blessing to someone. Feel free to take one to someone you know who needs to be reminded that God loves them unconditionally, just like a teddy bear.
- BELLA’S JOURNEY OF HOPE AND LOVE. We have partnered with Dr. Bella who embarked on her journey to be a missionary in Cote D’Ivoire this past fall. We are excited to have this opportunity to support Bella in this amazing way. Please prayerfully consider how you too can support her with your prayers and finances as she lives out Christ’s teaching that we should all be His hands and feet in this broken world. There is a Sunday School “Bella Box” on the table up front. For every dollar raised, the SS children place a sticker on the world map out in the hall. There goal is to completely cover it over the next 2 years!
- WATC (Women’s Alcohol and Treatment Center) These women are lost in the throngs of addiction and are court ordered to this facility with just the clothes on their backs. They are always in need of NEW underwear and socks, hygiene supplies (especially feminine care products), and next-to-new sweatshirts, sweatpants, jackets, and shoes.
- MERCY MEALS & MORE which provides breakfast to the homeless Mon-Sat. Their clothing room is always in need of gently worn jeans of all sizes, belts (which allow people to fit into a number of sizes!), sweats, coats, boots, sleeping bags, backpacks/gym bags/ carry-on sized luggage, and DEODORANT.
- BETHESDA HOUSE (a home for young mothers looking to become responsible parents in a Christian-based environment). Always in need of cleaning supplies including paper goods, diapers, and Uber gift cards.
- FEEDING THE HUNGRY MISSION. There are baskets in the front pews to collect your donation of money to help us feed the hungry in OUR community. We have been blessed to provide the families of Acushnet school children with grocery store gift cards at least twice a year.
- MATTHEW 25 FUND. A basket is located up front next to the Bella Box. The monies collected are used in cases of significant financial emergencies brought to the Pastor.
- SHEPHERD’S PANTRY. Open for distribution of food every Saturday morning from 9-11. Always in need of non-perishables and helpful hands.
